Karen: Fashion Haul

Hey :) So, I went to shopping recently, and so I decided to do a fashion haul for you all.

First, I think I should start with what I bought in the sale before. I couldn't find them on the website, so I'm really sorry if you can't get hold of them anymore :S
Got this jumper from H&M. Love the colour and thought it'd look really nice with a blouse inside :)
Again, from H&M - I love jumpers like this, because it's easy and causal which is perfect for uni!
From Zara! Such a bargain, though I can't remember how much it was on sale for. But I love blazers and I know I will wear this a lot :)

NOW into the normal clothing, which wasn't from the sale!

From Brandy Melville

Love the brand, it has a lot cute small graphics! They were gifts from my sister when she went to New York. I have been wearing these two to death and they look really nice with high-wiasted jeans or skirts :) I managed to find the white graphic on the website (here), however, I couldn't find the black one which was all over tumblr like a month ago haha! I wish we will have a Brandy Melville store in the UK soon!

From H&M
I never owned denim  jacket, and saw this cute one, so I bought it :)
I am a sucker when it comes to flats with bows on them! These ballet pumps were too cute to just leave them in the store! They have more colours and they are currently on sale, so go and get your pair!
I purchased this just a few days ago, but I couldn't find it on the website :/ But anyway, I thought this black dress can be dressed up or down :)

From Stradivarius
The brand isn't available in the UK, but is available in other countries according to the website. So, I'm really sorry if you can't get these items :/

I have been looking for brown boots like these for ages, as my old ones are getting a bit old. I like that they are really simple and hasn't got any bold details on them! (here

Yes, another jumper haha... this is really nice because it's quite tight, so it really shows off your figure in a good way :) (here)

From Pull&Bear
Love these wedges, they are very comfortable and causal :) Also, they are not too high, so I can wear them a lot during the summer with dresses! (here)

From Bershka
As you can tell, I am a shoes whore! I have a lot of shoes, and I love buying shoes, especially flats! And these ones are very casual and simple looking which I thought would be good for uni :) (here)

From Converse
Sorry for the dirty Converse, it shows I have been wearing them haha :) I was influenced by the pictures tumblr to get these... and I love wearing them! (here)
From Topshop
Sorry, for the background of this photo... It was taken on the train because I really wanted to whatsapp this to my friend when I bought it! It is my first midi-ring and it has the letter 'K' on it! I thought it was nice and personal :) (here)

Hope you enjoyed this haul, and that I didn't bore you :/ Let me know if you like fashion posts, so I'll know if I should continue doing them :) x

Karen's Confession: A Tumblr Addict

As you saw on the title, I am a Tumblr addict. It's pretty sad to say that I'm addicted to a website, but I love going on it! Especially nowadays with smart phones and apps downloads, I can go on it on my phone anywhere and anytime.
During this summer, I find myself spending a lot time on tumblr. It makes me laugh and it has loads of outfits inspiration on there!! I spend ages making my tumblr full of pictures I like :)
I'd say that this is a perfect place to go on when you have nothing to do. What's your tumblr account? xx

Karen's July Favourites

WHAT? It's August already? I can't believe either, seriously, where did July go? Now, we are more than half way through the year :/ But anyway, it's time for my favourites from July :)

Middle: Before blending     Right: After blending
The idea of this bb cream fascinates me, as it come out as a white cream, and when it is blended on your skin, it changes to your skin tone. It is a colour adopting tinted cream, which is suitable for every skin colour. Also, this has a really light coverage, almost like a tinted moisturiser, which I love to use during summer. However, I would not recommend this to people who have oily skin because it can sometimes make your face looks shiny.

As mentioned above, the Body Shop bb cream can look a bit oily, so I have been putting powder to set my make-up and to take the extra shine away. This is in translucent, which is great as it avoids the look of too much make-up. I believe good drugstore versions of this are the Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot and Rimmel Stay Matte.

During the last month, I have been lazy with eye shadows and eye liner. The eyelashes basically played a big role on my eyes! Therefore, I have to make sure that they are all curly and nice. The Shu Uemera eyelash curlers are well-known to deliver beautiful curly lashes, and I cannot agree more!

Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched/Hydrate
Before the Baby Lips were launched in the UK, I asked my sister to get me this from New York. It is nice, hydrating, smells great, and cheap! Seriously can't think of any disadvantages! So excited to see these in the UK drugstore and purchase more!

L'Oreal Colour Riche Caresse in 174 Rose Taffeta

Another lip product my sister got me from New York. I have never seen this in the UK, but the packaging looks lovely. The gold packaging kind of reminds me of the YSL lipsticks which are SO pretty! Anyway, I love using this lipstick as it does not dry my lips and the shade is really natural which I can use on a daily basis during summer :)

I love the scent from the DAISY MARC JACOBS range, it just smells like summer! Instead of carrying a bottle of perfume around, I got given this rollerball from my sister, which is so easy to take out. What more can I say? Rollerballs are like the best inventions ever!

SO, here are my favourites! Let us know what yours were, and if you have tried any of the products mentioned above :) Have a nice day guys :D

Review: NARS Blush/Bronzer Duo

Hello pretties, I'm Karen. I am so excited to show you the following product, and review it for you guys :) It is the NARS Blush/Bronzer Duo in Orgasm and Laguna! I believe that this duo palette was limited edition, so I'm really sorry if you can't get hold of this anymore. However, you can get the blush and bronzer separately.

Despite the weird name of this blush, I love the shade so much!! It looks so natural on my face and it simply brightens up on face complexion. This is a cult product and I now understand why this is such a hyped-up blush!
Left: Orgasm    Right: Laguna
Bronzer in Laguna
Once again, this is a classic shade from NARS which I'm sure all of you have heard of. It is perfect for contouring and it suits my skin colour so well! However, if you have really fair skin colour, I think this is too dark for you to use as a bronzer/contour.

Definitely check out these two shades if you have got neither, it really does worth every penny! NARS powder products (e.g: eye shadows or blushes) are known as their pigmentation, so it won't disappoint you! Also, keep your eyes open for any duo palettes, because I've heard that they bring out duo palettes every year. It is so much easier when two products are packed in one palette and to put in your handbags for touch-ups.

Hope you enjoyed this post, let us know if you have tried or want to try any NARS products, and your thoughts on them :)
